FAQ’s

Here are some questions we tend to receive prior to our customers staying:

When is check in/out?

• Check in is 3pm and checkout is 11am Where do I get the keys?
• Key collection information will be sent to your mobile number the day before and the morning of your stay

Nearest Parking:   

• Check individual property for information

Do you provide towels and linens?

• We provide hotel-quality linens on the beds as well as towels.

Can I check in early?

• We tend to have back-to-back bookings. By all means, send us a message the day before your arrival and we will see if we can accommodate. Early check-in and late check out could be chargeable

Can I check out late?

• If we do not have a guest arriving that day we may be able to offer a late checkout. Please send us a message the day before you checkout and we can let you know.

Travelling to the apartment:

From Gatwick Airport:

• Train - There is a direct train to Cambridge, duration about 2 hours but make sure you get the train that does not require any changes. Link to website to view times and fares can be found below: https://www.thetrainline.com Once you arrive at Cambridge Station, by far the easiest and fastest way to get to your accommodation is by taxi that will cost you around £6.20 and is available right outside the Railway Station. As an alternative you could walk. We are located 1.2 miles from Cambridge railway station so around a 20 minute walk. Or you can take one of many buses from the station that will take you to the City Centre. You can pay on the bus and it will cost a couple of pounds per person. Make sure you get the bus in the right direction; always ask the bus driver first! Citi 1 – Bus Stop: 7 Citi 3 – Bus Stop: 6 Citi 7 – Bus Stop: 6 These busses will take you to the City Centre on Emmanuel Street/St. Andrews Street, a 4 minute walk to your apartment.
• Coach - There is a Coach that takes you from Gatwick Airport to Parkside in Cambridge which is 2 minutes’ walk from your accommodation. Link is below: https://www.nationalexpress.com/en Duration of journey is approx. 4+ hours as opposed to 2 hours by taxi.
• Taxi - The most convenient and fastest way is by taxi but essential you pre-book at least a day in advance as the official airport taxis are very expensive. We have found the company “Airport Cars” to be the best value. Link below: www.airportscars.co.uk
• To return to the airport by taxi we would recommend using Panther Taxis who are a local taxi firm. See below contact details: https://www.panthertaxis.co.uk/ TEL: +44 (0) 1223 715 715 You do not have to pre-book Panther as they have plenty of taxis available.

Travelling from Stansted

• By Train - There is a train every 20-40 minutes (depending on the time of day) from the airport direct to Cambridge Station and the journey time is 30-35 minutes providing you get a train that is direct and does not require any changes. • Taxi - Alternatively you can get a taxi from Stansted Airport to your accommodation. This is faster and more convenient and likely to be around the same cost if there are 2 or more of you. Travelling from Heathrow Airport

• By Train - The most convenient train is the Tube (subway) that takes you all the way to Kings Cross and from there you can get a direct train to Cambridge. Make sure that you take the train to “Cambridge” and NOT Cambridge North or Cambridge Heath. The fast trains are less than an hour from Kings Cross. Avoid the ones that stop at multiple stations on the way. Rules

House Rules for Our Properties 

To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests and to maintain a harmonious relationship with our neighbours, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following house rules:

• Quiet Hours - 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise levels to a minimum during these hours. Loud music, shouting, or any other disturbances are strictly prohibited.
• Prohibited Activities - For the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests and to maintain the integrity of our property, the following activities are strictly prohibited: Parties Hosting parties or large gatherings is not allowed. Our accommodation is intended for the use of registered guests only.
• Smoking or Vaping - Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the property. Please always smoke outside. A cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
• Drugs - The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without refund and notification to the authorities.
• Any Illegal Acts - Engaging in any illegal activities on the premises is strictly forbidden and will lead to immediate eviction and potential legal action.
• Destruction of Property - Guests are expected to treat the property with respect. Any form of vandalism, intentional damage, or theft of property will be charged to the guest and may result in legal action.

Additional Guidelines

To further ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please also adhere to the following guidelines:

• Guest Registration - Only the guests listed in the booking are allowed to stay overnight. Please inform us in advance if you have any changes to your guest list.
• Check-in and Check-out - Check-in time is from 3:00 PM. Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Please inform us if you require a late check-out, which may be subject to availability and an additional fee.
• Cleanliness - Please keep the property clean and tidy. Dispose of rubbish in the designated bins. Extra cleaning charges may apply if the property is left excessively dirty.
• Security - Ensure all doors and windows are locked when you leave the property. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
• Pets - Pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated in your booking confirmation. Unauthorized pets will incur an additional cleaning fee.
• Utilities - Please use water and electricity responsibly. Turn off lights, heating, and appliances when not in use.
• Parking - Use designated parking spaces only. Do not block driveways or other vehicles. Emergencies In case of an emergency, contact the local authorities immediately. For non-urgent issues, please contact our management team.

Consequences of Rule Violations

Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in any of the following: Immediate eviction without a refund. Additional cleaning or damage fees. Legal action where applicable. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. These rules are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for everyone.
